How Do I Use The Button?

Simply click the Delete Pipe button and select the pipe you would like to delete.

But What Happens When…

1. The pipe has one open end:

The pipe will be deleted and if the other end of the pipe was connected to a fitting, then the number of outlets for the fitting will be reduced by 1

  • A cross will go to a tee

  • A tee will go to an elbow

  • An elbow will go to a cap

  • A cap will be deleted with the pipe

2. The pipe is connected on both ends:

The pipe will be deleted and the fittings/pipe accessories that were connected to the pipe will be moved together and connected.

  • This can be done by either picking the pipe or picking the two fittings/pipe accessories on each end of the pipe

    • If you select the pipe, the fitting/pipe accessory that you click closest to will not move, and the fitting/pipe accessory on the other end of the pipe will move and connect

    • If you select the two fittings/pipe accessories on each end of the pipe, the one that you select first will not move, the one that you select second will move to the first and connect
