Select Light

Used for selecting and inserting lights into ceiling grids. When Select Light is picked, the following box appears:

Pick Solid, Outline, or Thin to get another series of selections.

The Metric Ceiling Type option is only available when working on a metric drawing as specified in the drawing Setup. For metric drawings, this option is used to select true metric light sizes, or metric conversions of American manufactured sizes.

Pick the style of light you would like and press OK.

With SNAP ON, pick a point in the center of a grid space and the light will be inserted.

SNAP can be toggled with the F9 key or by picking the AutoCAD SNAP button. The SNAP should be set to the ceiling grid.
