Select Light ​

Select Light 1

Associated: Insert Light Center Light Smart Array

For selecting and inserting lights into ceiling grids.

When Select Light is picked, this box appears.

Select Light 2

Pick Solid, Outline, or Thin as your choice for style of light fixture.

The Metric Ceiling Type option is available when working on a metric drawing as chosen during the drawing Setup. For metric drawings, this option is used to select metric light sizes.

Pick the style of light you would like and press OK.

Select Light 3

With SNAP ON, pick a point in the center of a grid space and the light will be inserted.

Select Light 4

SNAP can be toggled with the F9 key or by picking the AutoCAD SNAP button.

The SNAP should be set to the ceiling grid.
