Insert couplings for elbows, tees, crosses or single pipes, with take-outs set according to the Coupling Setup command. If the sizing options Largest or Smallest are selected, the size will be set by reading the diameter block on the pipe. One coupling will be inserted for each of the pipes found at the end of the pipe that is picked.

This example shows four 2 ½” pipes joined at a cross.

The Coupling Setup command was used to set the fitting type as Standard Grooved 90 Elbow or Tee, and the diameter set to 2 ½”. After selecting the Ell/Tee command, the pipes were picked at the intersection.

The couplings for the cross were inserted and the pipe lengths changed to accommodate the fitting.
