Multiple Couplings

Layer(s): SPRNK2, SPRKDAT1, SPRKDAT2, SPRKDATA
Shortcut: MUC
Associated: Coupling Setup / Single Coupling / Remove Blocks / Takeouts
Ribbon: Insert Panel

Put a single coupling on many pipes at once. The settings in Coupling Setup will be applied to each one. This command is most often used when inserting groove-o-lets (gols) on welded grid lines since the setup is the same for each starter price, which is usually typical enough for these purposes (length of starter does not matter).
Prompts:
Please pick a ‘typical’ pipe Here you would pick a ‘typical’ pipe – usually a starter piece.
Select pipes - only pipes with the same layer and angle and those 180° opposite will get couplings... This allows you to use a window to more quickly select all the pipes you want to get a coupling. Since welded lines should have been drawn in the line layer (SPRKDAT2) and the main in the mains layer (SPRKDAT1), you don’t have to worry about picking main piping by accident if you select a line to begin with. Also, pipes with an angle of 180 degrees opposite of the one picked will also get a coupling. This is to facilitate putting couplings on both sides of a riser nipple (both the long line and outrigger).
