Cut Lines into Pieces

Break branch lines into particular-sized pieces. For when piping must fit in freight elevators at the job site. It will create breaks and insert couplings on branch lines at the specified distance.

Starting the command will open the dialog box. Select a Standard Length or specify a Maximum Length.

Enter a Tolerance to limit those pipes that will receive couplings. In this example, only those pipes that are 7’-6” or longer will receive couplings.

Press OK and select the lines.

Couplings are applied to the two upper pipes because they exceed 7’-6”.

The lower pipe did not receive a coupling since it is less than 7’-6”.
