Tagging Example 2
Tagging a tree, loop or grid system where the riser feeds into center of main.
In this situation, both parts of the main coming out of the tee (or cross) are normally to be listed as the same main. Here you will tag the main coming out of the riser as Main A and both parts of the main coming out of the tee as Main B. For this you will use the Many option for the second step.
Step 1 - Select the New Tag command and setup the box as shown. Listing ID is _A (Space A). Pipe type is your choice.
Step 2 - Pick pipe to start main at.
Step 3 - Tag is inserted. Place identifier
Step 4 - Start the New Tag command and setup the box as shown. Notice that Many is selected and the Number of Start Points is 2. The Listing Tag ID is set to _B (Space B).
Step 5 - Pick each pipe to insert tag, one to the left of the couplings and one to the right.
Step 6 - Tags are inserted. Place identifier
